Red-hot Gonzaga  goes after Couture’s heavyweight title
By Michael Ronquillo

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosts the next event, Respect, on August 25th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev., which will be broadcast internationally on pay-per-view.

Touted as the main event is UFC heavyweight champion, Randy Couture, defending his title against the red-hot Gabriel Gonzaga. Both fighters are coming off of strong victories and have winning on their minds.

The inspirational Couture came out of retirement to win the UFC heavyweight title after defeating Tim Sylvia. Gonzaga had a fantastic UFC debut when he defeated top heavyweight, Mirko Crocop, in what many consider an upset. The question on anyone’s mind now is: “Will Randy Couture continue his successful comeback, or will the younger Gonzaga prove that his time has come?”

Other bouts include Georges St. Pierre taking on Josh Koscheck, Patrick Cote facing off against Kendall Grove and many more!

The Respect fight card also includes:

UFC 74-Marcus Aurelio vs. Clay Guida
-Frank Mir vs. Antoni Hardonk
-Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs. David Heath

-Kendall Grove vs. Patrick Cote
-Joe Stevenson vs. Kurt Pellegrino
-Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck
-Roger Huerta vs. Alberto Crane
-Randy Couture (c) vs. Gabriel Gonzaga (UFC HW Title)

Tickets are available at UFC.com.
