XFC Honors U.S. Military With Free MMA Event

 TAMPA, Flo -- On November 11th 2007, the XFC (Mixed Martial Arts Xtreme Fighting Championships is hosting a "Salute To Our Armed Forces" MMA event at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL. Military families and veterans will have free access to this event.
"We really want to provide this day of fun and entertainment, held in our military's honor, and 100 percent free to them and their families, on this Veterans Day. Musical entertainment, plus other various entertainments, and mixed martial arts provided by the XFC," states Lew Bowman on his website (http://www.saluteourarmedforces.com) Many of the participating fighters welcome the opportunity to be part of this memorable event. Will "The Sandman" even refused to accept any payment for this bout: "No need to pay me for the fight, sir, it will be an honor to represent the Marine Corps. "
