By Astrid Bidanec  Mixed Martial Arts has been growing exponentially worldwide not only as a sport but also as an entertainment industry since 1993 when the UFC first launched. While many aspiring fighters have the talent and desire to make it big in the octagon, life usually puts roadblocks in their way in the form of financial issues. Going pro requires sponsorship and sponsorship requires a fight record, leading to the dilemma of having neither.
 The co-founder of MMA Rising.com, Daniel Regan, recognized this obstacle and created his website in order to help fighters find sponsors to support them on their rise to the top. His goal is to create a world wide data base, making it not only possible but moreover easy to create mutally beneficial relationships.

Daniel Regan "I have been involved in the MMA community for some time now, both as a fan and an aspiring fighter. I've gone to many shows where fighters seemed to have amazing potential but really couldn't take it any further. They have jobs. They have families and kids. MMA is something they love but they have to keep their home together first. I've always wondered how many world-class fighters we don't get to see because of this. I think everyone deserves a chance," Regan explains. Being a certified specialist in sports conditioning, as well as a certified fitness trainer with the International Sports Science Association has helped him hone in on his students' skills and talents as well as improve his own performance on the mat. Even though his ulitmate dream is to become a professional MMA fighter himself, he first wants to help other aspiring fighters find a way to realize this very same dream.
