By Astrid Bidanec TAMPA, Flo.-The Real Fighting Championship (RFC) event Revenge of the Warriors at the USF Sun Dome on February 23 showcased nine impressive fights, with quick and sound justice deciding each and every victory by either knock out, submission, or TKO.

The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) world champion, David Vieira, started out strong with several kicks and punches to Zach Barrios' upper body and head. He then quickly took the fight to the ground, where he maintained his control of the match and submitted Barrios with a rear naked choke at 1:22 minutes into round one. Joe Robinson followed Vierra's example and submitted Corey Swanson with a rear naked choke at 1:06 minutes into round one, leaving Swanson unconscious in his arms.

Miguel Gonzales ended Shawn Vaughn's winning streak and gave him no chance to catch his breath by delivering several powerful punches to his face, which left Vaughn bleeding and unable to defend himself. The referee stopped the fight at 1:04 into round one awarding Gonzales the win by T.K.O.

He submitted James Wynn in round one by applying an impressive combination of submission techniques, finally closing the deal with a triangle choke.
