If you are a hard core MMA fan and you don't have TIVO, you better find someone who does--fast! This Saturday, July 19, 2008, the UFC is  broadcasting its famous Fight Night FREE on Spike TV. Yep, you can enjoy it as a freebie, courtesy of Dana White. But before you think he has grown a heart for the poor, know this: Affliction is airing it's inaugural MMA show on the same day at the same time on pay per view. Needless to say, you might be torn between two choices as much as Mr. White seems to be sweating his competition.

If you are short on cash, the choice is easy: UFC on Spike. As added bonus you can even watch it twice in one night. They show it again right after the Affliction show ends. This considerate scheduling also leaves you the option to watch them both.

But what about the fights??? Who has the better fight card?

Affliction seems to hold the ace with Tim Sylvia and Fedor Emelianenko as main event. This match up is hard to beat. 

My plan is to watch them both, as a super MMA combo meal. Bon appetit!
