UFC star, Stephan Bonner, will host the next Cage Warriors USA event, Unleashed, at the new UCF arena in Orlando on August 23, 2008 at 6 p.m.

Matchmaker, Samantha said: “When Tommy & Dave said they wanted to feature welterweight and featherweight title bouts on the ‘Unleashed’ fight card, I immediately thought of Mikey & Charley and Mike & Bruce – all 4 fighters are tremendously experienced with wins over some exceptional opponents. They are incredibly dedicated, focused and committed to their MMA careers, bring a level of excellence both inside and outside of the cage, and they are all definitely ready physically and mentally to take their careers to the next level. I am truly excited to be able to bring these title fights to Cage Warriors USA.”

Also on the card will be Mark Serkez (5-2) and Gareth Joseph (3-1), two of the most dominating 185’ers in Florida.  They are set to battle it out, for what is expected to be a stand up brawl, as both fighters set their sights on a Cage Warriors USA Middleweight title shot next year.

Cage Warriors USA are pleased to also welcome back Kevin Abrante (185lbs, 1-0) and Brian Eckstein (135lbs, 2-0-1), who both successfully fought at Cage Warriors USA’s inaugural ‘Battle Royale’ event in March, and are expected to have their loyal fan base back on their feet, chanting their names, as they once again bring everything they have to the cage!

Jason Carapelluci, unarguably one of the toughest 145’ers in Florida, with an impressive 4-1 record, is also confirmed to make his Cage Warriors USA debut appearance, along with MMA fan favorites Daniel Lovett (1-0), Jason Patino (3-1), Carlos Gonzalez (3-2), Glenn Mincer (4-2), Zach Knight (2-2), Joel Garcia (3-1) and Justin Goodall (1-1).

And as Cage Warriors USA continues to support future MMA stars - Corey Krebs, Brandon Ocasio, Jim Alers, Chris Boffil, Patrick Downs and Steve Mogerman are confirmed to make their pro debut appearances on the card.

‘UNLEASHED’ is set to be an exhilarating night, with a combination of intensifying fights including two much anticipated title bouts, a star studded celebrity audience, an array of events leading up to the show PLUS prizes and competitions normally unseen at an MMA event.
